Thomas Ferguson Irish Linen has been weaving linen for 150 years. Generations of expertise and know-how, combined with state-of-the-art design and sampling departments, gives us a great deal of flexibility to meet the needs of our customers.

Personalising & Cresting
The Company specialises in undertaking commission orders and providing bespoke services which involves weaving linen, tailored specifically to meet individual customer requirements. Almost all our products can be branded or personalised in some way. This may involve in-woven cresting, an embroidered logo, company name woven into a tea towel, a coat of arms on a guest towel, your own design or a special size. Our skilled design team use extremely advanced technology, which is perfectly set up to handle short runs e.g. one crested tablecloth or a set of specifically designed napkins.

Commission woven products from Thomas Ferguson Irish Linen can be found in royal palaces, embassies, board rooms, stately homes and exclusive venues worldwide.

Special Sizes
Many of Thomas Ferguson products are available in super wide widths. This not only means that we offer bed linen right up to super king size 305cm (120"), but linen damasks for the table in widths up to 300cm (118 "). We can provide a made to measure cutting and sewing service to tailor products specifically to your requirements.

Exclusive Customer Designs
As retailers increasingly wish to differentiate themselves from one another, Fergusons has worked hand in hand with customers to develop own brand ranges. These collections can be seen in retail shops and mail order catalogues all over the world.

Thomas Ferguson can only reproduce good quality damask designs from good quality artwork. For the best results customers should send us a TIFF graphic file of the design. JPEG artwork is on the whole not of a good enough quality for good quality weaving.

Dyeing Service
Linen fabric can also be piece dyed to shade or woven with dyed yarns. Minimum order quantity of 300 metres applies to piece dyeing, however there are no minimum for dyed weft, subject to certain standard colours. Please enquire regarding this a la carte dyeing service.

Many customers prefer to make up their own finished products. We offer a comprehensive range of linen fabrics taken directly from our collections, in the piece. Alternatively we can work with you to create your own design. You can purchase linen fabric by the metre through our online shop
